Girls Code it is a free 10-week club that teaches the fundamentals of coding, builds sisterhood, and instills creative problem solving and critical thinking skills to 3rd-5th grade girls in the Wilmington area.
We are hosted by Code Ninjas®, a women-owned local business and part of the world’s largest and fastest-growing kids coding franchise.
Our club offers a female-centered space that introduces STEM concepts while demonstrating the value of lifting each other up and working together to solve problems and make fun things with computers.
We are part of a growing volunteer-led movement seeking to close the gender gap in STEM by inspiring the female innovators of the future.
